Welcome to the website of the Ghana Association of Greater Boston (GAGB).
GAGB is a non-profit, non-political social and cultural mutual aid organization of all Ghanaians in the Greater Boston Area of Massachusetts, USA.
The objectives of GAGB include but are not limited to the following:
· Bringing together and promoting cordial relations between all Ghanaians in the Greater Boston Region and between Ghanaians and other groups.
· Promoting and sustaining our cultural interests and general welfare by representing the Ghanaian Community in relations with public and other officials in both the US and Ghana.
· Providing moral and material support to members in times of joy and sadness, and when appropriate, extending assistance to local projects/programs in Ghana.

Independence Day Anniversary celebration
Ghana became independent of British rule on 6th March 1957. Every year GAGB celebrates the anniversary of this event in March.
Cookout: Date and place announced in spring
In addition, we occasionally host special events (such as the Kente-Lace Fundraising Dinner/Banquet in the fall) as and when the need arises.
